Results Round up – Sunday 11th March 2018

Gordon Snell Trophy 4th Round

Black Notley Top of the Premier Division hosted Great Bardfield 2nd in Division One. The home side went through in a very close game in which Great Bardfield lead twice before finishing 2-2 and go into extra time. Extra time saw Black Notley take the game to 3-2 and go into the semi final. Black Notley’s goal scorers were Harry Seal & Callum Ferrell 2. Great Bardfield’s goal scorers were Matthew Potter & Miles Bull.

Premier Division

CFC Shalford 5th hosted Broomfield FC 10th and the home side had a good 8-0 win. CFC Shalford’s goal scorers were Matt Smith 3 (3 Pens), Tyrone White 2, Levi Gray, Hayden Mihlenstedt, Aaron Collier.

Flitch United 4th hosted Bocking Social 6th in a close game that saw the away side win 2-1. Flitch United’s goal scorer was Luke Thornedyke. Bocking Social’s goal scorer was Tyler Kemp 2.

Division One

Great Notley 1st hosted Onley Arms 8th with the Home side winning 10-0 to move 4 points clear at the top. Great Notley’s goal scorers were Liam Humphries 4, Ben Hindley 2, Ross Layton 2, William Kinkaid & Richard Boddington.

Tiptree Jobserve 3rd hosted Great Bradford’s 6th and the away side won with the only goal in the game 1-0 to move up to 5th place. Great Bradfords goal scorer was Andy Turner.

Division Two

Braintree Legends 1st hosted Manor Works 9th and moved 6 points clear at the top with a 2-0 win. Braintree Legends goal scorer was Jon Archer 2.

Great Bradfords Reserves 6th hosted Witham Swan 8th and they shared the points in a hard fought 2-2 draw. Great Bradford Reserves goal scorers were Keith Jones & Mike Kayley. Witham Swans goal scorers were Ryan Kehoe & Dan Lodge.

Invitation Trophy Group B

Witham Nomads of the 2nd Division hosted Bocking Social Reserves of Division One. And saw the home side win in a close game 4-3. Although Bocking are still top of their group and move into the final. Witham Nomads goal scorers were Ben Fairs 2, Dan Fairs & Andy Barker. Bocking Social Reserves goal scorers were Isaac Falk, Will Meekings & Dan Topp.

Next Sunday sees the first of our Cup Finals which is being played at Halstead Town FC between Braintree Legends & Witham Phoenix in the Division Two Cup Final – 2.30 pm Kick off.
