Results ‘Round-up’ – Sunday 26th November 2017

Premier Division

Braintree Iron 3rd hosted League leaders Black Notley and visitors Black Notley won 3-1. Braintree Legends goal scorer was Billy Capper. Black Notleys goal scorers were Sam Lightly 2 and Harry Seal.

Flitch United 5th hosted Tiptree Elite 6th and won 3-2 to move up to 3rd place. Flitch United goal scorers were Billy Skinner 2 and Andrew Reed. Tiptree Elites goal scorers were Carl Driver 2 and Scott Simmons.

Nags Head Celtic 2nd hosted Broomfield FC 9th and won 4-2 to remain 2nd. Nags Head Celtic goal scorers were Rory Bone 2, Sean Radley and Robbie Cole. Broomfield FC’s goal scorers were Charlie Mower & Jack Hester.

Valley Green 11th hosted Bocking Social 8th with the away side winning 2-4 to move up to 7th place. Valley Greens goal scorer was Robbie Bennett 2. Bocking Social’s goal scorers were Daniel Nicholson 2, Harry Groves and Matthew Stepton.

Division One

Bocking Social Reserves 6th hosted Sporting 77 7th in a game chosen to support the Rainbow Laces Campaign by the Essex FA which saw Bocking Social Reserves win 4-2 and move up to 4th place. Bocking Social Reserves goal scorers were Jack Meekings 3 and Aaron Mangan. Sporting 77 goal scorers were Tom McGee and Chris Cook.

Great Bardfield 2nd hosted Onley Arms 8th and won 3-2 to go top of the division. Great Bardfield’s goal scorers were Adam Daniels, George Sheath and Freddie Robinson. Onley Arms goal scorers was Ben Collar.

Division Two

Braintree Legends 8th hosted Valley Green Reserves 10th and won 3-1 to move up to 6th place. Braintree Legends goal scorers were Philip Smith and Jonathan Chinalke with two. Valley Green Reserves goal scorer was Josh Platten.

Manor Works 9th hosted Dunmow Rhodes 3rd with the away team winning 4-3. Manor Works goal scorers were Tom Garnham, Matt Stacey and Stu Marsh. Dunmow Rhodes goal scorers were Kennie Irving, Charlie Gooch and George Watkins.

TK Eagles 1st hosted Witham Swan 4th and won 6-5 to stay top of Division two. TK Eagles goal scorers were Andy Cheek 3, Brett Melia, Greg Corcoran and an own goal. Witham Swan goal scorers were Joe Jackson 2, Ricky Parish, Darren Turner and Daniel Lodge.

Malcolm Foy Memorial Trophy 2nd Round

Great Bradford from the 1st Division hosted Panfield Bell of the 2nd Division and went through 7-4 after extra time. Great Bradford’s goal scorers were Tom Doughty 1, Harry Mills 1, Josh Preston 1, Bobby Pike 3 and an own goal. Panfield Bell’s goal scorers were Ryan Gilbert 2, James Crane and Toby Gross.

In an all 1st Division tie Great Notley hosted Tiptree Jobserve with the home side going through 2-1. Great Notley’s goal scorers were Kieran Ralph and James Bull. Tiptree Jobserves goal scorer was Matt Griffin with a penalty.

Witham Phoenix from the 2nd Division hosted Notley FC of the 1st Division with the Division Two side winning 3-1 to go through to the next round. Witham Phoenix goal scorers were Neil Lewis 2 and Aaron O’Shea. Notley FC’s goal scorer was Scott Collins.

Division Two Cup 2nd Round

Witham Nomads hosted Great Bradfords Reserves and went through 6-2. Witham Nomads goal scorers were Eddie Holroyd 2, Sam Greenhalgh, Andy Barker, Aiden Lizzimore and Joe Cornwall. Great Bardfords Reserves goal scorer was Jack Gilgrist 2.

Essex Sunday Premier Cup 3rd Round

CFC Shalford travelled to Woodham Athletic and lost 2-0.

Witham United hosted Wheatleys and went through 3-1 winners. Witham United’s goal scorers were M. Hearn, R. King and J. Merton.
