In the Premier Division Western Arms continued their 100% start with a 3-1 away win at Sporting 77 scorers for Western came from Kevin Hawes, Dave Harrison and Dan Mackie.
SC Crittall returned to winning ways at the expense of CFC Shalford in a hard fought and close game scoring two late second half goals by Jake Gilder.
Titan United move into second place with a 3-1 win over Cressing scorers for Titan were Nick Carstadden, Ross Farquhar and Paul Sheppard.
In the First Division Witham Galacticos go top with an impressive win over Bocking Social by 5 goals to 2 scorers for Galacticos were Mitchell Yeo 2, Jamie Laws, Kane Orr and Charlie Humphreys.
Terling Villa slip to second with a game of two halves against Panfield Bell, Terling were 3 nil up at half time and had been in control of the game but Panfield came out and dominated the second half and pulled it back to 3-3 in injury time scorers for Panfield were Russ Newman, Matt Knowles and Ellis Carter.
Old Bramstonians and Zizou thrashed out a cracking 5-5, Bramstonians coming back from 4 down at one point to get there first point of the season.
In Division Two CSS Celtic got off to winning start in their first game 3-1 against Witham Nomads scores for Celtic were Shaun Eley 2 and Scott Miller. Witham United thumped five without reply against CFC Shalford ‘A’. Tiptree Elite Cruised to a 4-1 over Sporting 77 Reserves scorers for Tiptree were Mario Andrew, Scott Simmons, Kevin Barmen and Jack Harris.
Biggest Score of the day came at Panfield Bell Reserves winning 10-2 over TK Eagles who were short on players and 63year old manager Keith Berriman stepped in to play up front but as much as Eagles took the lead through Dan Scott in the opening minutes but goals from Fabrice Williams hat-trick, Liam Chapman Hat-trick, Liam Abbot, Wells, Simon Jobson and an own goal for Panfield meant a late Sean Corcoran consolation for Eagles only put a small dent in the score line.
In Division Three Onley Arms won 5-3 over Notley, Onley took an early 2 goal lead but Notley pulled one back Tom Lightly just before half time. Only scored early in the second half then two goals for each team made the score 4-3 scorers for Notley were again Tom Lightly and Weston getting his first of the season but Onley got the all important goal on the break in injury time.
After last week Broomfield got a 3-1 away win over Bocking Social Reserves, Bocking’s scorer was Fraser Marshall and scorers for Broomfield were Joe Davis 2 and Najeeb Ali.
Great Bardfield got their season off to a great start winning 3-1 over Silver End Social scorers for Bardfield were Matt Potter 2 and Chris Dixon.
Next week sees the first round of the Charlie Turnbull Trophy and seven teams looking to keep their 100% league winning records going.
