Results Round up – Sunday 12th September 2021

PREMIER DIVISION.

Premier Division leaders Braintree Iron travelled to Finchingfield Rovers and won 3-1 with Simon Curry. Jordan Miller. Lewis Soraf PEN scoring for The Iron.Panfield Bell hosted CFC Shalford and the home team winning 9-2 Tyler Kemp scoring 5,Lewis Sonnex coming of the bench to score 3 and James Cook 1.CFC Shalford goal scorers were Matt Smith and Tom Groves.

DIVISION 1.

AFC Barnston lead the division one table after winning 6-3 against Braintree Legends, goal scorers for Legends were Arron Walker, Rob Rusu Constantin and Jordi Papple. One minute silence was held for former Legends chairman Daniel Bond whom passed away midweek after a long battle with Cancer. Witham United lost at home to Kelvedon Social 1-2 Ricky Lefty scored for Witham United while Andrew French & Liam Murphy scored for Kelvedon Social. Coggeshall Town beat Swizzino 8-1 with Tyler Pearson scoring for Swizzino.

Great Bardfield 0 High Easter 4

After last week`s league match against Valley Green was classed as Void, High Easter put in a good performance in the division one game away to Great Bardfield on Sunday and winning 4-0.George Paola had an early chance to put High Easter in the lead when his shot hit the post. Great Bardfield keeper Sam Plume was kept busy by the High Easter forwards but he was playing well, saving any shots that came his way, Chris Woodwards was keeping his defence in control. High Easter took the lead on thirty minutes after a good build up from the midfield, saw George Paola flash the ball into the net, with in minutes of the restart High Easter were awarded a penalty which George Paola scored to make it 2-0 .The goal of the game came from Sam Hockley who smashed a forty yard shot on the right flank ,giving keeper Sam Plume no chance to save.3-0.George Paola completed his hat trick, converting another penalty, this was an excellent first half by High Easter who went in leading 4-0.Great Bardfield had a better second half creating a few more chances but the High Easter defence held firm with Man of the Match Lewis Roe having a great game in both half`s.

DIVISION 2.

Sporting 77 beat Athletico Great Bradfords 2-1.The away team took the lead through Luke Anderson with the hosts Athletico Great Bradfords drawing level.Jamie Bowen then set up Chris Cook to score just before half time.Both teams cancelled each other out in the second half with only a few chances created.Division two leaders Stisted FC scored 6 goals to Bocking Social 0,on target for Stisted were Chris Moore.James Anderson.Ash Phillips.Ross Gooch and George Smith 2.Tiptree Jobserve sit in second place in the division after they beat Notley FC away 0-4.

DIVISION 3.

Witham White Horse beat Braintree Athletic 2-0 Sam Groves and James Long PEN scoring for the home team.

A very tight and sporting game between Witham Phoenix and Broomfield BNESL with the home team winning 2-1 Aaron Yates scoring both goals. Tiptree Jobserve Res had a home defeat to Notley FC Res 0-4 Liam Cool, Adam Webb, George Adlington and Jack Sandford scoring Notley`s goals. Division three leaders Stisted FC Res beat Great Bradfords 6-2.Dickson Nwakgeme hit a hat trick, William Kinkaid 1 George Kinkaid 1 plus one other were on target. Dunmow United made the trip to TK.Eagles and came away 3-6 win, Ben Sims 1 and Joe Sullivan 2 scoring for the Eagles.
