Results Round Up – Sunday 15th September 2019

Premier Division

Bocking Social hosted Tiptree Elite and the home side won 9-1, which puts Bocking Social top of the table. Tiptree Elites goal scorer was Mario Andrew.

CFC Shalford hosted Braintree Iron and the away side won 0-3 and move up to 4th place. Braintree Iron’s goal scorers were Jack Evans, James Norris & Simon Curry.

Sporting 77 hosted Braintree Legends First and the home side won 6-2 and it puts Sporting 77 2nd in the league. Sporting 77’s goal scorers were Adam Ryan 2, Tim Howlett, Chris Cook, Danny Raven & Calum Rushford and Braintree Legends goal scorers were Aaron Walker & Jodi Stiling-Savas.

Tiptree Engaine hosted Nags Head Celtic and the away side won 3-6 and it puts Nags Head Celtic 3rd in the league. Tiptree Engaine’s goal scorers were Michael Wigley, Tayla Hughes & Matteo Calvino and Nags Head Celtic’s goal scorers were Michael Thompson, Rory Bone 3, Ellis Carter & Sean Radley.

Division One

Dunmow Rhodes hosted Tiptree Jobserves which ended in a 1-1 draw and puts Dunmow Rhodes 8th and Tiptree Jobserve 7th. Dunmow Rhodes goal scorer was Charlie Gooch and Tiptree Jobserves goal scorer was James Scarlett.

Dunmow Rhodes picked up there first point of the season, having a 1-1 draw with Tiptree Jobserve on Sunday at High Easter,this was a much better performance by Dunmow Rhodes, after there 5-0 defeat last week.Both teams played well in the first half, without any goals,as both defences were in decent form,Charlie Gooch had a good shot, going close for Dunmow Rhodes,but at Half Time it stayed 0-0.The second half was a bit more lively,and an excellent shot from distance by Charlie Gooch rattled the underside of the cross bar,ending up in the back of the net to make it 1-0.Tiptree Jobserve soon made it 1-1 when James Scarlett broke free and after a good run down the right flank, sent in a good shot past Dunmow Rhodes keeper Luke Johnson,both teams were then after that winning goal, with end to end play, without any luck and the game ending 1-1 at Full Time.

Great Bardfield hosted Kenson FC and the away side won 2-7 and are 3rd in the league. Great Bardfield’s goal scorers Adam Potts & Chris Bull and Kenson FC’s goal scorers were Alex Broad 2, Sam Sullivan, David Shelley, Steven Shelley, Mark Yabs & an OG.

Halstead Town hosted Panfield Bell and the away side won 2-4 and Panfield Bell move to 2nd place. Halstead Town’s goal scorer was Tom Binks 2 and Panfield Bells goal scorers were Joe Spencer 2, James Cook & Toby Gross.

Notley FC First hosted Flitch United and the game finished in a 0-0 draw and puts Notley FC 6th and Flitch United 5th.

Witham Town hosted Stisted FC and the home side won 3-0 and go top of the table. Witham Towns goal scorers were Jacob Palmer, Jack Stoneham & Adam O’Neill.

Division Two

Bradwell Rovers hosted Witham Phoenix and the home side won 6-0 and move to 4th place. Bradwell Rovers goal scorers were Adam Starckey 2, Shaye Ellis, Alex Burling, Louis Claxton & Kieron Kennedy.

Finchingfield Rovers hosted Witham White Horse and the home side won 4-1 and move to 5th place. Finchingfield Rovers goal scorers were Keelan Durrant 2, George Sheath & Jarrod Spencer and Witham White Horse’s goal scorer was Jared Chammach.

A gorgeous, sunny day in Finchingfield, saw the Rovers complete a fairly comfortable 4-1 home victory in our first game of the season. Rovers dominated from the start and were 3-0 up in 25 minutes with goals from Keelan Durrant 2 and George Sheath.Witham pulled one back with a header after half time before Jarrod Spencer made the game safe with a neat finish. A good start to the season for Rovers.

Great Bradfords FC hosted Tolleshunt Knight Eagles and the home side won 3-1 and move to 6th place. Great Bradford’s goal scorers were Luke Jones 2 & Jack Gilgrist and Tolleshunt Knight Eagles goal scorer was Andy Cheek.

Stisted FC Reserves hosted Braintree Legend Reserves and drew 2-2 with Stisted FC Reserves moving up to 3rd and Braintree Legend Reserves are top. Stisted FC Reserves goal scorers were Billy Kinkaid & Jamie Eaton and Braintree Legend Reserves goal scorers were Bailey Wright & Charlie Humphrey.

Tiptree Jobserve Reserves hosted Notley FC Reserves and the home side won 1-0 and are 2nd. Tiptree Jobserve Reserves goal scorer was an Own goal.
