Another good performance by Dunmow Rhodes on Sunday at High Easter, when they entertained Witham Nomads and winning 3-0 this result keeps them well in touch with the front runners in division 1.Witham Nomads also played well and made Dunmow Rhodes work hard for this result. Both teams were playing good passing football in the first half, but it was Dunmow Rhodes who took the lead ,when a George Hamill free kick landed in the goal area, and with some neat footwork by Jake Sutton he squeezed the ball between the post and Witham Nomads keeper Joe Gibbons to make it 1-0 at Half Time. The second half continued with chances coming at both ends, and Dunmow Rhodes eased the pressure a bit by scoring there second goal,Kennie Irving sent a long pass to Sam Duberry, his pace and skill saw his shot nestle in the back of the net.Kennie Irving then became goalscorer when he smashed home a penalty to make the Final Score 3-0 to Dunmow Rhodes.Man of the Match for Dunmow Rhodes was Kennie Irving.
