Results Round Up – Sunday 22nd September 2019

Premier Division

Nags Head Celtic 3rd hosted Sporting 77 2nd and the home side won 5-0 to go top of the table. Nags Head Celtic’s goal scorers were Matty Knowles 3, Rory Bone & Charlie Frost.

Tiptree Engaine 9th hosted Braintree Legends 8th and drew 2-2 which means no movement in the league. Tiptree Engaine’s goal scorers were Matteo Calvino & James Calydon and Braintree Legends goal scorers were Robert Constantine & Andrei Apolli.

Western Arms 5th hosted Tiptree Elite 6th and the home side won 5-1 to move up to 4th place. Western Arms goal scorers were Ryan Henshaw, Ross Debrick 2, Kevin Hawes & David Hawes and Tiptree Elites goal scorer was Mario Andrew.

Division One

Flitch United 5th hosted Heybridge Harriers 4th and drew 3-3. Heybridge Harriers goal scorers were Evan Davis 2 & Stuart French.

Notley FC 6th hosted Great Bardfield 11th and the home side won 7-0 and move up to 3rd place. Notley FC’s goal scorers were Callum Farrell 4, George Phillip, Matthew Western & Dan Potter.

Panfield Bell 2nd hosted Witham Town 1st and the home side won 3-0 and swap places. Panfield Bell’s goal scorers were Ben Parker & James Cook 2.

Stisted FC 9th hosted Dunmow Rhodes 8th and the home side won 3-2 to move up to 5th place. Stisted FC’s goal scorers were James Burdage & George Smith and Dunmow Rhodes goal scorers were Alex Blake & Charlie Gooch.

Stisted and Dunmow Rhodes played a very entertaining game on Sunday at Stisted with the home team winning 3-2. Dunmow Rhodes started well with Charlie Gooch causing problems in the Stisted defence, but the player picked up a knee injury and had to come off, his replacement, playing his first game of the season was Emilio Caceres Sola, and his first touch of the ball was taking the free kick which found the head of Alex Blake who hit the back of the net with great header to make it 0-1, but just before half time Stisted drew level from a good finish by George Smith making it 1-1 at Half Time. After a good first half for Dunmow Rhodes,Stisted hit two quick goals at the start of the second half through Luke Hammond and James Burrage on the score sheet, this made Dunmow Rhodes up there pace,creating more chances, with Adam Griggs going close with a good shot, but was pushed away for a corner by Stisted keeper Ross Cook. The return of Charlie Gooch after his injury, saw him score Dunmow Rhodes second goal, after excellent work from Warren Baines with a good pass, the last few minutes of the game saw plenty of action in the Stisted penalty area, with away team going for that equalizing goal, but Stisted held firm and the Final Score ending 3-2 with Dunmow Rhodes still waiting for there first win of the season.

Tiptree Jobserve 7th hosted Halstead Town 10th with the away side winning 4-3 to move up to 6th place. Tiptree Jobserve’s goal scorers were James Scarlett 2 & an OG and Halstead Town FC’s goal scorers were Pele Heydon (Pen) Tom Binks, Connor Murphy & Ryan Munson.

Division Two

Braintree Legend Reserves 1st hosted Notley FC Reserves 9th and the home side won 5-0 to stay top. Braintree Legend Reserves goal scorers were George Windsor, Ben Dyer, Tate Filby & Aaron Yates 2.

Tolleshunt Knight Eagles 8th hosted Stisted FC Reserves 3rd and the away side won 3-0 to move up to 2nd place. Stisted FC Reserves goal scorers were Billy Kinkaid, Ash Shuttlewood & Matt Stacey.

Witham Phoenix 10th hosted Great Bradford’s 6th and the away side won 7-1 to move up to 4th place. Witham Phoenix’s goal scorer was James McLaughlin and Great Bradford’s goal scorers were Luke Jones 2, Jack Gilgrist, Leon Griffin, Keith Jones, Mike Kayley & Jordaine Tighe.

Witham White Horse 7th hosted Tiptree Jobserve Reserves 2nd and drew 1-1 to move up to 5th place. Witham White Horse’s goal scorer was Joe Jackson and Tiptree Jobserve Reserves goal scorer was William Kimber.
