Premier Division

Bocking Social 8th hosted Witham United 5th and the home team won 2-1 to move up to 7th place. Bocking Social’s goal scorers were Alex Cutts & Alfie Oxley-Gilpin. Witham United’s goal scorer was J. Merton.

CFC Shalford 7th hosted Great Bardfield 9th and the away side won 3-2. CFC Shalford’s goal scorers were Tyler Butcher & Charlie Prow. Great Bardfield’s goal scorers were Matthew Potter, George Sheath & Scott Forbes.

Braintree Iron made use of one of their games in hand to open up the Premier Division title race and close the gap to several other teams competing at the top of the table with an impressive 0 -2 away win at Flitch United. The Amber and Blacks were not helped by a late injury ruling out their first choice keeper but Billy Capper proved an exceptional stand in on the day with a safe pair of hands and great distribution. Iron opened the scoring through Jack Evans ending a neat passing move with a very composed finish within the first 10 minutes. The match remained tight and closely contested until Jordan Miller netted Braintree’s second with an outstanding finish into the top corner of Flitch’s net. Iron were able to utilise their squad for the remainder of the match closing the game down to take the victory. Jamie Gray was voted as Irons Man of the match following a typically dominant display

Great Notley 10th hosted Great Bradfords 6th with the away side winning 6-1 and they move up to 5th place. Great Notley’s goal scorer was Dean Wiffin 1 and Great Bradfords goal scorers were Jack Gilgrist 2, Ryan Vickery, Keith Jones and James Chalk 2.

Nags Head Celtic 3rd hosted Western Arms 2nd and shared the points in a 4-4 draw. Nags Head Celtic’s goal scorers were Jamie Bone 2 & Rory Bone 2 and Western Arms goal scorers were Ross Debrick 2 & Sam Hollocks 2.

Division One

Dunmow Rhodes 5th hosted Bocking Eagles 7th and the home side won 3-1 and move up to 4th place. Dunmow Rhodes goal scorers were Sam Duberry, Sam Hockley and Jake Sutton and Bocking Eagles goal scorer was Christian Goodbrand.

An excellent performance by the ten men of Dunmow Rhodes on Sunday, at High Easter winning 3-1 against Bocking Eagles,with each Dunmow Rhodes player putting in a good work rate through out the match.Dunmow Rhodes could have taken the lead in the first minute when Sam Hockley found space, but fired his shot over the bar,at the other end Dunmow Rhodes Keeper Luke Johnson pulled off a superb one handed save,running backwards,and tipping the ball round the post,another chance came for Rhodes with Emilo Caceres – Sola sending in a shot which the Bocking Eagles keeper Lovis Martin making a good save.Bocking Eagles took the lead with a decent strike from Christian Goodbrand, but on the stroke of half time a great free kick from set piece specialist Adam Griggs found Jake Sutton to smash the ball into the net to make it 1-1 at Half Time.The second half got underway with both teams creating chances,but Sam Hockley was having a good spell of play down the right flank for Dunmow Rhodes,his pace and strong runs were causing Bocking Eagles big
problems, and he set up a goal for Sam Duberry to put Dunmow Rhodes in the lead at 2-1.Man of the Match Sam Hockley scored Dunmow Rhodes third goal with a great finish to make it 3-1,Lewis Roe sent in a good shot at pace for Dunmow Rhodes but it hit the post and the Final Score ending 3-1

Notley FC 10th hosted Tiptree Elite 1st with the away side winning 3-1 to keep them top of the table. Notley FC’s goal scorer was Danny Sutton 1 and Tiptree Elite’s goal scorers were Matt Eve, Adam McGrath & Max Harris.

Panfield Bell 4th hosted Sporting 77 2nd and the away side won 3-1. Panfield Bell’s goal scorer was Jack Rolf and Sporting 77’s goal scorers were Charlie Luxton 2 & Danny Raven.

Division Two

Tiptree Jobserve Reserves 6th hosted Witham Town FC 8th and the away side won 3-2 and move up to 5th place. Tiptree Jobserve Reserves goal scorers were Liam Oriely 1 and Adam Collins 1 and Witham Towns goal scorers were Tommy Hayes, Ben Palmer & Jamie Panting.

Tolleshunt Knight Eagles 10th hosted Finchingfield Rovers 4th and the home side won 3-1 and move up to 9th place. Tolleshunt Knight Eagles goal scorers were Jake Melia, OG & Tom Dickinson and Finchingfield Rovers goal scorer was Adam Potts.

Witham Phoenix 9th hosted Manor Works 2nd and drew 1-1. Witham Phoenix goal scorer was Richard Nial and Manor Works goal scorer was Ryan Hart.

Division One Cup

Braintree Legends hosted Onley Arms and the home side went through with an 8-1 win. Braintree Legends goal scorers were Daniel Miller 3, Jon Archer, Arron Walker 2, Rusu Robert Constantin and Mathias Kosinski and Onley Arms goal scorer was Harry Alexander.

Division Two Cup

Great Bradford Reserves hosted Heybridge Harriers and they away side won 2-0 to go through. Heybridge Harriers goal scorers were Jack Howe & David Newton.

Malcolm Foy Memorial Trophy

Witham White Horse hosted Tiptree Jobserve and the away side went through with a 4-0 win. Tiptree Jobserves goal scorers were Griffin, Scarlett, Caetano & Ogusaga.
