Results Round Up – Sunday 2nd May 2021

Premier Division

An unexpected turn in the Premier Division saw Nags Head Celtic lose 2-1 to a resurgent Swan Athletic leaving a mammoth task for Nags who would need to see off Western Arms 12-0 to win the title! Braintree Iron held strong at the top with a 3-1 win over Western Arms this weekend to see them the favourites for the title in a huge twist! The other two fixtures were unable to go ahead as Great Notley and Witham United struggle to field sides.

Division One

Panfield Bell won 9-1 in another goalfest as they saw off Sporting 77, Panfield only need a point against Halstead Town to guarantee the title after Halstead and Finchingfield cancelled each other out 1-1. Notley First Team add another point to their tally as they drew with AFC Barnston 1-1. Flitch United were unable to field a side against Braintree Legends.

Division Two

The Division Two title was sealed on Sunday after a good season battle in the division! High Easter ran out 4-1 winners to Great Bradfords First Team whilst Coggeshall Town fell 1-0 to Tiptree Jobserve handing High Easter the title two weeks early! Great Bardfield look good for promotion after a 3-2 win against Witham White Horse saw them take second place.

Division Three

Notley Reserves won 3-0 against Dunmow United to keep pace with Stisted Reserves whose season came to a close last weekend. 3 Points against fellow promotion challengers Tiptree Jobserve Reserves will hand the title to Notley anything less sees Stisted hold it! Jobserve Reserves can’t win the title but can finish second on goal difference if they can earn 6 goals and three wins in the next three matches a good battle to come! Witham Phoenix end the season in 8th after a 5-2 loss to 7th place Broomfield who could move position depending on Great Bradfords Reserves final scoreline after they lost 4-1 against Jobserve this week.
