Swizzino moved up to third place in division 1 after beating Witham United 5-2. Swizzino goal scorers were Connor Molloy 2, Tyler Pearson, James Watson and Mike Romain. Witham United had Ryan McCormack and Tyler Wilsher on target for the away team.

CFC Shalford 8 High Easter 1
A really depleted High Easter side travelled to premier division side CFC Shalford on Sunday in the Gordon Snell Trophy Group A match and suffered an 8-1 defeat The heavy rain and strong winds did not help the playing conditions. High Easter just had the eleven players with no subs, and they soon lost Kennie Irving with an injury, and played most of the match with ten players. High Easter keeper Harrie Irving pulled of a great save when Peter Falco fired in a great shot, but CFC Shalford took the lead from a corner, it found Jake Buckland to fire in a bullet header. Aaron Collier had a good shot on goal to make it 2-0.Peter Falco had another shot saved by Harrie Irving and from the resulting corner Craig Tomlinson made it 3-0.CFC Shalford were having the best of the first half, but High Easter were getting the odd chance on goal with George Paola going close and a great run at pace on goal by Alex Blake smashed the ball past the CFC Shalford keeper to make it 3-1 at Half Time. The second half got underway with Lefkos Constantinou making it 4-1 more goals kept coming through Jordan Fossey, Aaron Collier, Stef Gray and Peter Falco to make the Final Score 8-1. A special mention must go to High Easter keeper Harrie Irving he pulled of some brilliant saves, where the score could have been well into double figures. It`s back to cup action again on Sunday 7th Nov when High Easter host a Brentwood side St. Eagles FC in the Essex Sunday Junior Cup 2nd round Kick Off 10.30am.
AFC Barnston 3 Braintree Legends 4
Braintree Legends had a great win at AFC Barnston winning 4-3 Corey Carter, Rob Rusu Constantin, Ekkophop Chaiyanto and Ethan Webster scored for the Legends.
Finchingfield Rovers hit 7 goals against Coggeshall Town Under 23`s. Cameron Schweitzer 2, Cameron Palmer, Olly Rand, Jarrod Spencer, Charlie Pitt and Keel and Durrant all scoring in the 7-0 win.
Panfield Bell beat Great Bardfield 8-2 at Great Bardfield. Ryan Gilbert, Toby Gross, Adam Pillinger, A hat-trick for Scott Kemp, Joseph Darby and James Cook all on target for the Bell.
Swan Athletic beat Halstead Town 5-2, Pele Haydon and Lewis Wollington scoring for Halstead Town.
Malcolm Foy Memorial Trophy – Group Stage
Kavern 0 Notley 1 Ollie Zenzer scoring for Notley FC.
Witham Phoenix were winning 4-2 against TK. Eagles when the match was stopped due to a waterlogged pitch, the home team were playing well with Aaron Yates, James Reilly, Ben Dyer and Bayleigh scoring for Phoenix. Andy Cheek whipped in 2 goals for the Eagles.
Daniel Mayne and Scott Byrne scored Bocking Socials 2 goals but Sporting 77 hit 5 goals with Brad Keefe 2, Alfie Stephenson, Danny Raven and Luke Crosdale scoring for the away team.
Another match was abandoned at Broomfield BNESL v Athletico Great Bradfords with Athletico leading 5-0 Ben Lane, Nathan Postill 2 and Conner Files 2 on target.
Stisted Res lost 8-0 to Stisted first team.
Witham White Horse had a heavy home defeat against Tiptree Jobserve losing 1-6 Nathan Turner scored for the hosts while Will Kimber 3. Nathan Knights 1 Jude Scott .and an OG scored for Tiptree Jobserve.

Braintree Athletic started slow and were 2 nil down after ten minutes, but made it 2-1 by half time from a Conner Pugh corner, and was met in the middle with a header from centre back Dave Barnard. The second half got underway and Braintree Athletic started to get back into the game and within ten minutes to go Nathan Clark scores on debut from a cross by James ( CHEF) and with only one minute left to play Tiptree Jobserve clear the ball only to see it fall to Taylor Hicks to scream home a winning goal from thirty yards and celebrations with the greatest knee slide on the wet pitch to get there first cup win. Lewis Martin and Kian Kinsella scored for the home team.
