Results Round-Up Sunday 7th October 2018

Premier Division

Bocking Social 5th hosted Flitch United 1st and the away side won 3-1 but drop to 2nd place. Bocking Social’s goal scorer was Alex Cutts 1 and Flitch United’s goal scorers were Jake Buckland 2 and Aaron Collier.

CFC Shalford 9th hosted Nags Head Celtic 3rd and the home side won 5-3 to move up to 8th place. CFC Shalford’s goal scorers were Tyrone White 4 and Tyler Butcher and Nags Head Celtic’s goal scorers were Rory Bone 2 and Pater Bartosz.

Great Bradfords 7th were home to Western Arms 2nd and the away side won 7-1 to go top of the table. Great Bradfords goal scorer was Leon Griffin and Western Arms goal scorers were Adam O’Connor 2, Tony Walkin, Kev Hawes, Tate Filby, Todd Hollocks and Shannon Crannock.

Great Notley 8th hosted Witham United 7th with the away side winning 8-3 to move up to 5th place. Great Notley’s goal scorers were Charlie Griffiths 2 and Sam Edwards 1 and Witham United’s goal scorers were J. Merton 5, J. Button, R. Leftly and S. Barrett.

Division One

Notley 10th hosted Braintree Legends 2nd and the away side won 8-1 to stay in 2nd place. Braintree Legend’s goal scorers were Jon Archer 4, Matt Kosinski, Rusu Robert Constantine, Aaron Walker and Bamikole Fadoji.

Onley Arms 9th hosted Tiptree Elite 1st and the away side won 5-1 to stay top of the table with goals from Matt Allum, Tim Eve, Sean Dobbins, Mario Andrew and Aiden McGrath.

Tiptree Jobserve 8th hosted Panfield Bell 3rd with the away side winning 4-1 and stay in third position. Panfield Bell’s goal scorers were Jack Rolf 2, Adam Clark and Ben Parker.

Witham Nomads 5th hosted Dunmow Rhodes 6th and the away side win 8-0 to move up to 4th place. Dunmow Rhodes goal scorers were Sam Duberry 2, Charlie Gooch, Kennie Irving, Jake Sutton 2 and Emilio caceres Sola 2.

Dunmow Rhodes put in an excellent performance against the ten men of Witham Nomads at the Witham Leisure Centre on Sunday,player/manager George Alexander was unable to witness his teams performance ,as he picked up a nasty injury two weeks ago,and has probably put him out of action for the rest of the season,so George Watkins took charge of running the team, and he made a good start with an 8-0 victory.Dunmow Rhodes were quick of the mark when Jake Sutton scored,with a good finish,it soon became 2-0 when Sam Hockley made a good run down the right flank,his cross was met by Sam Duberry and he whipped the ball into the net,Jake Sutton scored his second goal to make it 3-0.Witham Nomads were unfortunate to lose keeper Joseph Gibbons with a hand injury,but he was able to play on the field,James Riley took over in goal,making some good saves as Dunmow Rhodes were having a good first half,Sam Duberry hit his second goal of the game to make it 4-0 at Half Time.Witham Nomads came out strong in the second half,and giving Dunmow Rhodes a few problems,but Kennie Irving made it 5-0 with a neat finish,new signing for Dunmow Rhodes Emilo Caceres – Sola slotted home two well taken goals,one which came from an excellent cross from Kennie Irving, and Charlie Gooch fired in a good goal from another Kennie Irving pass to make the Final Score 8-0.

Division Two

Finchingfield Rovers 7th hosted Heybridge Harriers 4th and won 3-2 and move up to 6th place. Finchingfield Rovers goal scorers were Charlie Pitt 2 and David Olubunmi 1 and Heybridge Harriers goal scorers were Stuart French and Conor Davis.

Finishingfield Rovers came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in the last 15 minutes.

Manor Works 2nd hosted Witham White Horse 3rd and the away side won 3-1 to move up to 2nd place. Witham White Horse’s goal scorers were Ben Platten, Jared Chammach and Ryan Kehoe.

Tolleshunt Knight Eagles 9th hosted Notley Reserves 1st with the away side winning 5-2 and they remain top of the table. Tolleshunt Knight Eagles goal scorers was Andy Cheek 2 and Notley Reserves goal scorers were Callum Ferrell 3, Tristan Woolfenden and Frazer Gardiner.

A fast start from eagles saw them get an early lead within 5 minutes.
Notley took their time to get into the game a great move down right by Jason Thompson was finished with a superb strike from Tristan Woolfenden to bring the game level two quick goals in 3 minutes by Frazer Gardiner and callum ferrell put Notley 3-1 up at half time.
Eagles started the 2nd half in the same manor as they did the 1st but wasn’t able to take advantage a solow effort from inside the notley half earned Ferrell his second, eagles keeper made some outstanding saves but was unable to stop Ferrell completing his hat trick.
