Results Round-up – Sunday 9th December 2018

Premier Division

Braintree Iron moved up to second place in the League with 3-0 away win at CFC Shalford. A depleted Iron put in a solid display with goals from Lewis Soraf 2 and a much debated 3rd from Nick Stackhouse sealing the win. Yet another clean sheet from the Amber and Blacks defence provided a solid base with Pete Junior Musto slotting in seamlessly on the right side. Daniel Norris leading from the middle and a typically solid game from Dan Ward on the left. Sam Jones rolled back the years to do us a massive favour between the sticks allowing Billy Capper a well deserved and much needed run in midfield. Will Hardy had an outstanding game working tirelessly for the cause. Overall today’s result was a result of real team spirit and the flexibility of the Iron squad.
