SC Crittall progressed to the third round of the Essex Sunday Premier Cup following a 5-0 win at fellow BNESL side CFC Shalford. The Visitors lead 4-0 at half-time and added one more in the second half as they took their foot off the pedal. Crittall now travel to face either Broomfield or Feering United in round four.
Silver End Social are through to the third round of the Charlie Turnbull Memorial Trophy. In a game that had to be switched to Broomfield as Silver Ends pitch was unavailable, it was Broomfield who took the lead in the first half. Social equalised when a flick on by Kieran Burton fell nicely into the path of Chris King who made no mistake one on one to make it 1-1 at half time. Social went in to the lead early in the second half through a Chris King penalty and made it 3-1 when King crossed to captain Andy Haig for a simple tap in. Social went further ahead When Chris King completed his hat trick with a brilliant lob of the goalkeeper and then a Sam Love Penalty made it 5-1. Broomfield pulled one back from the spot before Jay Webb headed in from corner to seal a 6-2 win.
Western Arms lead the Premier Division with a seven point advantage after a 7-2 win away at Beaumont Wanderers. Kevin Hawes and Dan Gage both scored twice with David Hawes, Jon Hayes and Dan Mackie also on the score sheet, Matthew Knight and Jordan Heath replied for Beaumont.
George FC moved in to third place with a 5-4 win at home against Rayne. Nigel Warren with Two, Michael Walkin, Tony Walkin and an own goal for George while Paul Day with two, Billy Smith and Will Finch scored for Rayne.
Cressing picked up their first points of the season taking all three as they beat Sporting 77 4-0. Matt Morris with a brace, Owen Rogers and Tim Redhead on target for the hosts.
In Division One, Leaders Witham Galacticos maintained their three point lead with a 2-1 win away against Old Bramstonians. Mitchell Yeo gave Galacticos the lead after 4 mins, Old Bramstonians looked to have earned a share of the points with the equaliser in the last minute but Galacticos snatched the win when Jamie Lawes got the winner in injury time.
Second placed Terling Villa won 4-2 away at CFC Shalford Reserves. Jamie Cracknell banged in a hat-trick for the visitors along with an own goal while Harry King and Lee Glynn scored the consolation goals for Shalford.
Valley Green are fourth following a thumping 10-2 win at home against Panfield Bell. Ryan McCormack top scored with four with Joe Carlyle, James Brown, Robbie Bennett, Danny Stocking, Jake Williams and Harry Ellis scoring one apiece.
Bocking Social and Manor Works fought out a 2-2 draw. Pete Haxell and Dan Vile scoring for hosts Bocking while Lee Cuddeford scored both for Manor.
Witham United continue to lead the way in Division Two, as goals from Tyler Wilsher, Jed Merton and Joe Fairbrother gave them a 3-1 win against Panfield Bell Reserves.
Second placed Tiptree Elite needed two late goals to beat CFC Shalford A 3-2. Matt Allum, Jack Harris and Scott Simmons netting for hosts Tiptree, While Jack Gilgrist and debutant Adam Ryan scored for Shalford.
Witham Nomads won 5-4 at home against Sporting 77 Reserves. Ross Wilson and Joe Cornwall both scored twice with Shaun Baker completing the scoring for Nomads. Immanuel Lawrence, Billy Capper, Mark Sadler and Wayne Kirby netted the goals for Sporting.
CSS Celtic won 3-0 away at SC Kelvedon, Rob Cole scored two and one from Sean Radley for CSS.
one game in Division Three saw leaders Coggeshall Town lose their 100% record as they went down 4-3 away at Witham Phoenix. Jamie McLaughlin, Remy Stuart, Sam Francis and Keith McCoy scored for Phoenix.
