In the Charlie Turnbull Trophy Round Two Terling Villa Thumped 7 without reply against Zizou, Tristan Woolfenden 2, Jay Cracknell 2, Scott Collins, Ben Agar Hutton and an Own goal completed the scoring for Terling.

In Division One the only game saw Witham Galacticos go back to the top on goal difference with a convincing 4-0 win over Old Bramstonians. Scorers for Galacticos were Mitchell Yeo 2, Kane Orr and Jamie Panting.

In Division Two Witham United keep their 100% winning start just with a 5-4 thriller over CSS Celtic scorers were Aaron Chinnery 2, Ryan Miller and Scott Miller and United’s scorers were Jedd Merton, Jack Smith, Chris Smith, Marti Cullum and an own goal.
Right behind them are Witham Nomads who won 3-0 over SC Kelvedon, scorers were Ross Wilson 2 and Dayne Banks.

Third are now Tiptree Elite who won 3-1 over Tolleshunt Knights Eagles Scorers for Tiptree were Mario Andrew, Jack Harris and Harry Harris. Sam Berriman got the only goal for Eagles.

Division Three Coggeshall Town who are top were in county cup action and Great Bardfield moved level on points with top spot after winning away against Broomfield, scorers for Broomfield Najeeb Ali, Joseph Davis and Ben Hampton were not enough as 2 Chris Dixon and 2 Matt Potter goals gave Bardfield the 4-3 win.

2 Ross Cook goals were not enough for Onley Arms as they lost 3-2 at home to Witham Swan putting them third in the table.

Notley came from behind twice with goals from Thomas Lightly and George Rickard to earn a point against Silver End Social for whom Chris King scored twice.

The bottom of the table clash saw Valley Green Reserves win away from home against Bocking Social Reserves, Liam Humphries 2, James Martin and Jon Flowers scored the goals for their 4-2 win, while Daniel Vile and Connor Clark replied for Bocking.

In the Premier Division CFC Shalford Drew 1-1 against George FC, Great game of football between to even sides, the draw being a fair result after Andy Turner had given the home side the lead mid-way through the second half after a goalless first half, George equalised 10 minutes later when Leroy Facey netted to earn a share of the points.

Western Arms increased their lead at the top of the table with a 4-0 over second place Titan United with the goals coming from Paul Ansell, Daniel Gage, Connor Holland and Spencer Claydon.

SC Crittall try to keep up with a same score line win over Rayne Brad Hickman, Scott Lodge, Kane Dobrowolski and Dan Cook Scoring for Crittall.

Cressing remain rooted to the bottom of the table after a 5-2 home loss to Beaumont Wanderers Ezra Drann with a hat-trick and a goal apiece for Daniel Smith and Dave Smith. Tyrone White scored both goals for Cressing.

In the County Cup’s Coggeshall Town and Valley Green got walkovers into the next round.

Manor works unfortunately lost 5-1 to Grange Celtic Bhoys with Stuart Ellis the scorer.

CFC Shalford Reserves played Zeds at home, The home side dominated the first half but failed to take their chances and went in 1-1 at half time, Lee Glynn scoring the equaliser for Shalford after the visitors had taken the lead. Zeds took the lead early in the second half and started to really dominate, the home side made some changes which had an effect, Jon Halls deflected shot made it 2-2. Phil Goodwin then put the visitors ahead for the first time when he scored a header from a corner with 15 minutes to go Nicky Simpson then completed the scoring to make it 4-2 with 10 minutes to go to give them a home game in round two.

Witham Phoenix also have a home tie in the next round after going all the way to penalties, the score was 2-2 at full time and then 4-4 after extra time, Remy Stewart 2, Keith McCoy and Conner West the scorers in game time, eventually they won 7-6 on penalties.
